Welcome to Pizzaman Chickenman, the taste of homegrown Ghanaian ambition. Our story isn't about global franchises or foreign capital; it's about two determined students, a rented room in Kumasi, and an unshakeable belief that Ghana deserved its own fast-food champion.

The Beginning: A Pizza Slice and a Hostel Room
Our journey began in January 2018 in a small rented apartment in Kotei-Kumasi, near KNUST. It was here that two final-year students, Christian Boakye Yiadom (Actuarial Science) and Ebenezer Essuman-Amankwah (Mathematics), along with Prince Owusu, decided to turn their side hustle into a vision. We started small: selling pizza by the slice, using simple, everyday items to run our small operation. In a moment of pure student ingenuity, we even used our study table as a makeshift kitchen counter, applying our math skills to creatively fold A4 paper sheets into our first packaging materials. The word spread quickly. Our first major contract came from the KNUST Women's Commissioner, and soon, student organizations were lining up. It was a surprising sight: a former student leader turning to food business, but it affirmed a simple truth: people loved our food.

Our ambition wasn't without its challenges. After a promising start that saw us selling our first commercial full box of pizza in April 2018, we faced financial obstacles that forced a temporary halt. We moved and reopened with renewed determination in a small shop at Ayeduase, achieving a promising revenue of GH₵12,000 in our first month alone. But we knew to truly serve Ghana, we couldn't rely on pizza alone. In 2019, through a pivotal partnership with Quick Angels Ghana Limited, we had our breakthrough. We introduced our sister brand, Chickenman, under the umbrella of CEQA Foods. This wasn't just an addition; it was a strategy to ensure our beloved Jollof and Fried Rice, could stand proudly alongside our pizzas. This dual-brand model allowed us to offer the best of both worlds: Western convenience and authentic Ghanaian flavour, served with speed and quality.
